Jennings Randolph Lake is a 952-acre reservoir located on the North Branch Potomac River in Mineral County, West Virginia. The lake was created in 1982 by the construction of the Jennings Randolph Dam for flood control, water supply, and recreation. The lake offers fishing, boating, swimming, and camping opportunities, with several campgrounds and picnic areas located around the lake. The lake is also home to a variety of fish species including bass, crappie, walleye, and catfish, making it popular among anglers. The lake is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is open year-round.
